Romans | Women's Precept Study

Northview Mission | Wednesdays 9:30-11:00am | February 5 - April 16, 2025

The rich theological foundations of our faith are found within the words Paul wrote to the Romans, so many centuries ago. But, we will see that they are so relevant to our walk with Christ today! We will take a slow dive into the depths of the treasures of this letter, finishing our Part 1 study from January 8-29, and then continuing with part 2 (chapters 6-8) starting on February 5, 2025. We will prayerfully ask for an understanding of righteousness, justification, sanctification, and more!

You can approach the study in two versions: ESV or NASB. You can also choose which way to study based on your time allowance. The In and Out approach requires about 3 hours of homework per week, and the Precept Upon Precept approach requires about 5 hours of homework per week.

Registration for Part 2 is now open!

We believe God still speaks today and that His primary and authoritative way of doing this is through His Word; all 66 books! We believe taking in Scripture is a necessary part of the growing Christians life.

We desire to GROW in knowledge that results in people who look more like Jesus. We desire to SUBMIT to His Word. We desire to KNOW God: His character and ways. We desire to KNOW Jesus: what His life, death and resurrection accomplished (the gospel!).

We use the Inductive Bible study method. This method utilizes 3 tools: #1 Observation (what does the Bible say?) #2 Interpretation (What does this mean?) #3 Application (What do I do?) Through personal daily study, participation in weekly discussion groups and the teaching that follows, we strive to grasp God’s Word at a deeper and more impactful level.
